Beginners Schemes for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the wild west in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not need to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable people taking their cash.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, newcomers are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied decisions.

It’s also easier to play for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the casino is dealt seven cards face down.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
