Omaha Hi-Lo (also known as Omaha 8 or better) is often times viewed as one of the most complex but popular poker variations. Omaha 8 or better starts like a normal game of Omaha. Four cards are given out to each player. A sequence of wagering follows where gamblers can wager, check, or drop out. 3 cards are dealt out, this is known as the flop. A further sequence of wagering happens. After all the gamblers have in turn called or dropped out, a further card is revealed on the turn. an additional round of betting happens at which point the river card is revealed. Unlike Texas Hold ‘Em, where the board can be everyone’s hand, in Omaha hi low the player must utilize precisely 3 cards on the board, and precisely 2 hole cards. No more, not a single card less. Contrary to regular Omaha, there are two ways a pot may be won: the "higher hand" or the "lower hand."
A high hand is exactly how it sounds. It is the strongest possible hand out of everyone’s, whether that is a straight, flush, full house. It’s the identical approach in just about all poker games.

When determining a low hand, straights and flushes don’t count. the lowest hand is the worst hand that might be made, with the worst being made up of A-2-3-4-5. The lower hand takes half of the pot, as does the higher hand. When there’s no lower hand available, the high hand wins the entire pot.
