Fix Attention on Annie Duke

Annie Duke mightn’t have won her first World Series of Poker Bracelet until two thousand and four but she is one of the most powerful poker competitors around the ring games at The Bellagio in Las Vegas. Annie’s long-awaited World Series of Poker win came with success at the "forgotten game" of Omaha Hi-Lo.

While competitors from the "young crowd" of poker go berserk following a huge success at the tables, Annie goes home to be "mom" to her 4 children. She hails from New Hampshire and was raised into a family of poker players. If you don’t accept that, observe her sibling, Howard Lederer, when he plays, Howard taught Annie how-to play poker.

However, Annie Duke is not a small fry kind of girl and has captured her cut of difficult games, including eliminating Howard a few times on numerous occasions.

Winning over $3 million in tournament play, Annie branched out to become a consultant to both UltimateBet and actor Ben Affleck, who aspired to hone his skills and become a big player in poker.

You may see Annie at the Bellagio, you’ll see her on the tv and you may even play with her in a net poker game, but do not expect an easy win. Unless you are a champion-in-the-making, you won’t beat her. However, it would be fun to say you played at the same table as "The Duke".
